Nico Tangara is a creative working at the intersection of art and technology. At 14, he built his own game server, teaching himself programming and sprite animation along the way. Since then, he has continued to merge logic and artistry, shaping ideas through both code and craft.

Over the years, Nico has worked with global brands to create culturally grounded campaigns that explore new creative territory. His work has been recognized at major award shows, earning a Grand Prix at Clio, as well as honors from D&AD, One Show, the Webbys, Red Dot Design Awards, Effies, Spikes, WARC, and Cannes.

‍‍Beyond client work, his passion for tinkering has been featured in Vogue Singapore, Designboom, DIYphotography, and PetaPixel, and was even mentioned by Stefan Sagmeister. He also speaks at creative festivals such as Citra Pariwara, the Kancil Awards, and Pinasthika Festival, sharing his perspectives on turning ideas into action.

During his time at BBH, he ran the Innovation Lab, spearheading experimentation, maker culture, and innovation.
